7 going on...?...depends on the day...!

My little Brookie Cookie has just recently turned 7 years old. 7!! I don't know why that freaks me out so much, but it does. Maybe because some days she is 7 going on 8...which is a really big deal...and some days she is 7 going on 17...which is something I'm not even able to fully process at the moment! I have heard the expression that "time flies" all of my life, but it was just another cliche to me until my kids were growing up just as fast as I could blink my eyes. I remember the day I had Brooklyn like it was just yesterday. She changed my life the very first moment I held her in my arms, and she has continued to bless our lives each day since. I feel so lucky to be the mother of such an amazing little...but not-so-seemingly-little-anymore girl. I love you Brooklyn!

Here are our family pictures that we took before Christmas this year. Derick's mom and dad were nice enough to drive up to Morgan, and his dad, who is a very talented photographer, took them for us...thanks dad! I think they turned out great! I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up!

Re-Dedication!!!
